The 7th grade girls B basketball team crushed Small Middle School last Thursday 38-0. Congratulations a great team win! Keep it up, Tigers!
The 8th grade A basketball team improved their record to 2 and 0, defeating Small Middle School on Thursday. The girls played great defense and took care of business.
This past Saturday, 22 Gorzycki Band students participated in district band auditions. 14 students had high enough scores that they qualified to move on to the final round of auditions which will happen this Saturday at Covington. 7th graders who will move on to the second round are Erin C, Felix D, and Clair B. 8th graders who will move on to the second round are Marco F, Zoe M, Sean L, Ashton B, Jason S, Connor D, Ryan H, Ehsan A, Sara Y, Caleb L, and Lauren B. Special congratulations to Sean L (alto sax) Lauren B (percussion) and Clair B (tenor sax) who finished first chair on their instruments. Way to go Tiger Band!
The boys B Soccer team defeated Small Middle school 7 to 0 this past Saturday. The Tigers were led by 3 goals from Evan D, with Connor A, Pierre V and Nico T. each contributing a goal a piece. Great Job B-Team!
GMS Choir students are reminded to report to the commons tomorrow right after school to check in with the parent helpers for the GMS Choir Solo & Ensemble. Students should be ready to have a parent pick them up to go home about 10 minutes after their last singing time. Choir students should find their groups & get ready.
Writing Club is this week! Come to room 706 after school on Wednesday to spend time writing, sharing your writing, and hanging out with other writers. Please make sure you have a ride home promptly at 5pm. See you there!
