Choir students who are attending the GMS Choir Caroling Trip are reminded to report to the choir room at 8:40am today. Choir students must wear their choir t-shirt to be allowed to attend. Choir students will report to 6th period when they get back from the trip.
The 8th grade B team crushed Ann Richards last night 48-4. The girls went undefeated on the season, with a final record of 6-0. They managed to outscore all opponents by a combined total of 211-30 points. Congratulations on a dominant season ladies!
The 7th grade B basketball team defeated the Ann Richards Stars by a score of 42-6. The girls finished the season as undefeated zone champions. Congratulations to the girls on a great season! The 7th grade A team defeated the Ann Richards Stars by a score of 36-4. The Tigers will play in the 1st round of the playoffs on Monday. Great job girls!
The Bowie High School Debate team is starting a Debate Club here at Gorzycki! Debate Club is the perfect place to explore the art of "organized arguing". Become an influencer, discuss both sides of controversial topics, and develop your "chill under pressure" skills, all while building new friendships and basically being super cool! HO! HO! HO! Hey Gorzycki tigers, Christmas has come early for 1,200 local families in need! NJHS is collecting BRAND NEW toys for the Travis County Sheriff’s Brown Santa Program. These gifts will bring smiles to hundreds of children all over Austin! You can put your donations in the two barrels (or boxes) located in front of the school through December 17th. Happy Holidays!
Hey Tigers! Today, after school is the Winter Drama Club and the theme is "Gingerbread Wonderland." Come to the cafeteria after school for some festive fun and games with the theatre officers! Pick up will be in front of the school promptly at 5pm. Hope to see you there!
Guess what Tigers?, Next week is Fine Arts Theme Week! That’s right, another week of dressing up! Next Monday is Make Believe Monday, dress as your favorite Holiday Character! Check out the TVs in the commons or the GMS website for a list of themes for the rest of the week!
Badge & Water Bottle Reminder. Students please don’t forget your ID BADGE, YOU NEED TO WEAR IT TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY! Also, bring your refillable water bottle with you everyday as well.
