Today is an A Day

The GMS Fine Arts students will be ringing in the holidays for our students and staff by performing in the Winter Assembly on Thursday.

1. All performers will report directly to the gym at the beginning of 2nd period that day.

2. 8th graders will head to the gym to see the performances at 8:40am & will leave their belongings in their 2nd period class.

3. 7th graders will head to the gym to see the performances at 9:20am & will bring their belongings with them to go to 3rd period after.

4. 6th graders will head to the gym to see the performances at 10:20am & will bring their belongings with them to go to lunch after.

 5. Teachers are required to come with their class and to actively monitor their students.

6. Students are reminded to be good audience members by actively listening and to never boo, stomp, yell, or whistle to show appreciation.

Hey Tigers! The last Writing Club of the semester is today, December 15th. Come hang out after school in room 706. Please make sure you have a ride picking you up at 5pm. See you there!

Reminder for all Dungeons and Dragons club members: There will be no D&D Club meeting this week. Meetings will resume every Thursday starting AFTER Winter Break.

Hey tigers, do the holidays put you in a giving mood? Well there is SNOW better way to help our community than Brown Santa. Contribute your NEW, UNOPENED toys to one of the barrels in front of the school before this Friday, December the 17th to make the holidays a little merrier this year!

 

 

Hey Tigers, this week is Fine Arts Theme Week! Today is Warm up Wednesday and tomorrow is Tis the Season Thursday, throw on your holiday cheer with some festive garb!  Check out the TVs in the commons & cafeteria or the GMS website for a list of themes for the rest of the week!

The Boys Soccer A-Team defeated Kealing Middle School earlier this week after an exciting round of PK's. The score was tied 0-0 after regulation, but PK's were scored by: Lennon B, Andres G, Jack A, and Ian R. Man of the Match goes to Nick W. for keeping a clean sheet during the match and Liam K for making 2 PK saves. Next, we face off against Murchison Middle School for the City Championship tonight at 6 pm at House Park. Come out and support your Tiger Soccer Club!

Badge & Water Bottle Reminder.  Students please don’t forget your ID BADGE, YOU NEED TO WEAR IT TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY! Also, bring your refillable water bottle with you everyday as well.
