Attention ALL students: FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes is back! We are having our first Huddle this Friday, September 24th. Huddles will be held every Friday morning from 7:50-8:15 in Room 814. Remember, FCA is NOT just for Athletes. And although FCA is Christian based, we welcome and respect students of all faiths. The 7th grade A volleyball team crushed Bailey last Thursday: 25-3, 25-15. The Bears were left stunned in serve receive as the Tigers served up ace after ace. Congratulations on another win!
Congratulations to the Gorzycki Cross Country team for an outstanding performance at the Hays Invitational last Friday night. The 8th grade girls were meet champions, the 8th grade boys and 7th grade girls finished 2nd, and the 7th grade boys finished 8th. Out of 115 finishers in the 7th grade girls race, top finishers were Roisin S in 14th, Eve J in 15th, Olivia H in 22nd, Lauren C in 25th, and Claudia C in 27th. Out of 174 finishers in the 7th grade boys race, top finishers were Josh L in 3rd, Beckett C in 30th, Conor B in 53rd, Niko T in 54th, and Hartman B in 87th. Out of 110 finishers in the 8th grade girls race, top finishers were Cam A in 5th, Willa B in 11th, Korinne T in 12th, Grace G in 14th, and Audrey C in 17th. Out of 118 finishers in the 8th grade boys race, top finishers were Rowan C in 2nd, Andrew C in 5th, Charlie S in 27th, Luke K in 37th, and Lucas S in 38th. Great work everyone! Choir students who are in Glee are reminded that practice will start after school in the choir room at 3:50 to 4:30 tomorrow. Students must have their ride ready to pick them up at 4:30.
