Writing Club is this week! If you like to write, come to room 706 from 4-5PM on Wednesday to hang out with other writers. Bring your signed permission slip and make sure you have a ride home in the BACK of the school at 5pm.
The 8th grade A volleyball team continued their winning streak, defeating Paredes 25-11 and 25-7. It was a great match for the tigers and a total team effort. The 8th B team also defeated Paredes. Their final game is Thursday at Ann Richards.
Congratulations to the Gorzycki cross country team for running well in the McNeil Invitational last Saturday. The girls finished 3rd of 15 schools and the boys finished 7th of 19 schools. Out of 174 finishers in the girls race, Gorzycki's top finishers were Cam A in 10th, Anna L in 17th, Willa B in 21st, Delaney M in 35th, and Audrey C in 45th. Out of 236 finishers in the boys race, Gorzycki's top finishers were Andrew C in 8th, Beckett C in 51st, Gavin B in 61st, Brayden L in 72nd, and Paul C in 102nd. Way to go Tigers! The next meet will be next Saturday and Brentwood Christian School.
Attention ALL students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has changed its meeting days for a few weeks. FCA will now meet on Wednesday’s from 7:50-8:10am in room 814. All are welcome and it’s never too late to join. If you plan on coming, please arrive by 7:45 so you can come up and we can start on time. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. See you Wednesday!
