Bring your chess set to the cafeteria on Tuesday, October 5 and enjoy some friendly competition from 4:00-4:50. For those who don't know how to play yet, we will learn together. All skill levels welcome!
Writing Club is this week! If you like to write, come to room 706 from 4-5PM on Wednesday to hang out with other writers. Bring your signed permission slip and make sure you have a ride home in the BACK of the school at 5pm.
The 8th Grade Football B-team hung on to beat Bailey 8 to 0. Tyler K had the only touchdown and conversion of the game. The rest of the game was a defensive battle with valiant efforts on both sides. Haq N and Vaughn R. made some huge tackles and Elliot A. sealed the victory with a much needed interception at the end of the game. Way to hang on Tigers! Our last game is next Tuesday at home vs. Murchison.
Glee students are reminded to come to the choir room after school today from 3:50-4:30. Glee students must have a ride ready to pick them up at 4:30pm. Glee students will not be allowed to stand outside to wait, so, students should have their parent call the choir room or their personal cell phone when their parent arrives. Choir students wishing to audition for the Star-Spangled Banner should be ready to audition in the choir room today at 4:30-5:00pm.
Gorzycki Tigers will excel today, and lead tomorrow.
