The AVID Math Summer Bridge is required for all Rising 7^th or Rising 8^th grade students who wish to "level-up" one level in math. 

• Rising 7^th graders currently in Advanced Math 6 who wish to level-up to the Accelerated Math 7/Algebra Path should sign up for 7^th Grade Accelerated Summer Bridge. Successful completion will allow them to enroll in Accelerated Math 7 in 7^th grade, then Advanced Algebra I in 8^th grade. 

• Rising 7^th graders currently in Accelerated Math 6/Algebra Path who wish to level-up to the Accelerated Geometry Path should sign up for Algebra Readiness Summer Bridge. Successful completion will allow them to enroll in Advanced Algebra I in 7^th grade, and then Advanced Geometry in 8^th grade. The flyer states this is only for Rising 8^th graders, however, rising 7^th graders who have successfully completed Accelerated Math 6 (Algebra Path) can enroll with teacher recommendation. Please speak with your student's math teacher for recommendation.

• Rising 8^th graders currently in Advanced Math 7 who wish to level-up to Advanced Algebra I should sign up for Algebra Readiness Summer Bridge. Successful completion will allow them to enroll in Advanced Algebra I in 8^th grade.
