Peer Assistance, Leadership, and Service (PALS)
The PALS program is a Texas Education Agency-approved peer helping program in which a select group of eighth-grade students are trained to work as peer helpers/mentors with younger students on their campus. All PAL leaders have demonstrated their commitment to being trustworthy, empathetic, caring, and responsible individuals. They are proven leaders who set a consistent positive example for their peers, and who genuinely enjoy working with and supporting other students and programs on campus. In addition to mentoring students, PALS also engage in team-building activities, leadership development, project-based decision making, and real-world problem solving. PALS are committed to improving their school and the wider community through individual and committee-based service activities.
