Attention all NJHS members... This is a reminder that we have a meeting today, January 27th after school in the cafeteria. Don't forget to wear your t-shirt. We will be doing a service activity and meeting with your committees. Please be sure your ride is here promply at 4:45. See you there!
Choir students in Tiger Tones and Grace Notes are reminded to come to the required fine arts 5th grade performance rehearsal in the cafeteria after school on Thursday until 4:40pm. Choir students should leave all of their belongings against the wall in the commons before entering the cafeteria on Thursday to go on the stage to get ready.
Choir students in Tiger Tones and Grace Notes are also reminded to wear their choir t-shirt or hoodie on Friday and should wear black leggings, black sweat pants, or blue jeans with closed-toe shoes for the performance on Friday. Tiger Tones and Grace Notes should leave all of their belongings in their lockers on Friday and report directly to the choir room at the beginning of 1st period to warm up and check roll. Tiger Tones and Grace Notes will miss 1st, 2nd, and 3rd periods on Friday.
The GMS Choir had 73 students audition on Saturday at O.Henry Middle School. Out of those students, GMS had 37 students selected for the 2025 TMEA Region 18 Middle School Choir. GMS also had 4 other students selected as alternates. Congrats to all of the students selected this past weekend. They will perform in a very special concert on Saturday, February 8 at the AISD PAC at 4:00pm.
Congratulations to the girls soccer B team for their 8 to 0 win over O Henry middle school this Saturday! Goals were scored by: Lola B, Evelyn J, Sydney W, Jillian S, and Sophie C. The defender of the game was Laramie A. The tiger's next game will be Saturday, February 1st at 10:30am at Bailey middle school.
Congratulations to the girls soccer A team for a dominant win over O Henry last weekend by a final score of 7 to 0. Leading the way was Carly M with 2 goals and Ava J, Lilly M, Sierra W, Brynn J, and Claire C scoring 1 goal each. The next game will be this Saturday at Bailey.
Reminder, esports practice and games will be held in room 703 today for our Smash Bros and Rocket League teams. Practice starts at 4.
