Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
All A teams boys soccer players report to room 714 after school.
Last night, girls 8th grade A team basketball beat Murchison in a crazy match, winning 43-39 in overtime. Sydney A and Livia H both scored 15 points each and all of the girls did great! 8th grade B team girls basketball also won 18-11 against Murchison. The girls showed great defense and fought hard. Way to go tigers, your coaches are so proud of you!!
The 7th grade A basketball team got off to a great start to their season by dominating Murchison by a score of 46-16.Kennedy C led the way with 20 points Mia M scored 9 and Isabella R chipped in with 6. The Tigers are at home again on Thursday against the Small Cougars.
Gorzycki Middle will celebrate Love Your Brain week next week to promote drug and alcohol abuse awareness. Monday's spirit day is "Lei (L-E-I) Off Drugs" . Wear your tropical/Hawaiian themed clothing".
7th and 8th grade boys interested in trying out for basketball must sign up and have all paperwork turned in by November 8th. 8th grade will tryout immediately after school until 5:30 on November 9th and 10th. 7th grade will tryout before school on November 10th and 17th. If you have any questions, see Coach Neary.
Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold our next Huddle of the year this today after school. Huddles will be every Friday after school, unless noted otherwise, in room 814 from 3:55-4:25. Those attending need to arrange a ride to pick them up in the front of the school at 4:30. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome!
