Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Students, if you ride bus 2211 or 2219 your bus will not be taking you home today after school. Once again, if you ride 2211 or 2219 please call your parent and make sure that they know you will need to be picked up after school today.
The 8th grade A basketball team won the Eanes tournament this weekend for the second straight year. The Tigers defeated Hill Country and Dhalstrom and then beat West Ridge in the final by a score of 80-70. Rollie B and Finnian N led the way in the championship with 26 and 25 points, while Mateo R chipped in with 14 and Greyson G had a few big buckets and played lockdown defense. The Tigers open District play this Thursday at Murchison.
Attentions 7th graders wanting to try out for GMS Cheerleader or Mascot...please pick up a cheer and mascot packet from Mrs. Hanson by the end of this week. There is a mandatory candidate and parent meeting on January 24th at 6:00pm in the GMS Cafeteria
4 GMS Quiz Bowl teams traveled to Katy Texas on Saturday to compete in the Winter Round-up Tournament. All the teams competed well with the A team finishing third and the B- team with Mark S., Connor E., Logan C., and JD B. taking 1st in the tournament. Great Job Quiz Bowl!
Attention 6th and 7th graders wanting to try out for the GMS Dance Teams....please pick up a Dance Team Try out packet from Mrs. Hanson by the end of this week...There is a parent meeting on January 24th at 5:00pm in the GMS Cafeteria
