Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Today is an A Day that means you will have 1st—4th period today. Once again, today is an A day.
Students in Tiger Tones and Graces Notes choirs are reminded they are required to attend the Region Choir Contest this Saturday. Students should wear their choir t-shirt and bring snacks or drinks or bring money for concessions. Students are to report to the back GMS bus loop on Saturday before 7:30am. Students will return to GMS to be picked up some time between 12:00 and 1:00pm.
Reminder for all Dungeons and Dragons Club Members: there will be no D&D Club meeting this week. Please make sure that you are prepared to go home as usual at the end of the day. Meetings will resume next Thursday, the 26th of January.
Hey Tigers! Follow the clues and solve the mystery at Drama Club this Friday! We'll have lots of Murder Mystery themed games and challenges from 4-5pm in the cafeteria. Hope to see you there!
Austin ISD’s College, Career and Military Readiness Department is sponsoring Future Ready Days on the first Friday of each month for the remainder of the school year. Due to the Winter Break, our Future Ready Day for January is this coming Friday, January 20th. Gorzycki’s CTE teachers have selected this Friday’s theme to be “The Future’s So Bright!” Your future's so bright that you should definitely be wearing sunglasses and a hat to school on Friday! As always, remember that school safety and dress code guidelines apply to dress-up days. Thanks!
If you are interested in joining Crochet Club or the Finance & Investing Club, stop by Mrs. O'Brien's room 712 to sign up. Take a permission slip and return it to room 712 before the first club meeting. Crochet Club meets after school every 1st & 3rd Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:00. Finance & Investing Club meets after school every 2nd & 4th Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:00. The first Crochet Club meeting is today in room 712 from 4 to 5. Stop by room 712 today to pick up a supply list.
