Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Choir students in Tiger Tones and Grace Notes are reminded to meet at the back GMS bus loop at 7:30am on Saturday. They should wear their choir t-shirt and school dress-code bottoms. They should bring money for concessions OR bring snacks and drinks. They should be ready to have a ride ready to pick them up at the back GMS bus loop around 12pm.
The 8th grade A basketball team opened District play with a 60-48 win over the Murchison Matadors. Rollie B and Mateo R led the way scoring 15 and 14 points. Finnian N added 8 while Greyson G chipped in with 7. The win improved the their record to 5-0 on the season. The Tigers will play Wednesday at Bee Cave MS at 6:30.
7th Grade boys basketball B-team won against Murchison 44-40 last night! Special shoutout to Christian E., Evan D., & Kingston M. for leading their team to victory last night! Great job, Tigers!

Aloha! Drama club is Hulu dancing its way closer! If you haven't guessed it already the theme is Hawaiian Luau. Drama club is today in the cafeteria from 4-5 pm. This drama club, like multiple others, comes with great winning opportunities, candy, games, and friends! So make sure to come this Friday! Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold our next Huddle of the year this today after school. Huddles will be every Friday after school, unless noted otherwise, in room 814 from 3:55-4:25. Those attending need to arrange a ride to pick them up in the front of the school at 4:30. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome!
Attention Tigers. Its time for Quiz Bowl tryouts. Quiz Bowl is a class at GMS and a team that competes against other schools. You must be in 6th or 7th grade to tryout. If you are interested in trying out for Quiz Bowl please come see Coach Murray in room 708 by next Friday January 26th to set up a tryout time.
