Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.

All students will take the practice Math STAAR practice test tomorrow, January 25th. Posters with testing room numbers are posted in the commons. Students, please look at the posters to know which room to go to at 8:20 tomorrow morning. If you have the text to speech accommodation, please bring your own wired headphones. We will follow the same bell schedule as MAP Growth testing. All classes will be about 30 minutes long. 

 

Attention Dungeons and Dragons Club: There will be no D&D club meeting this week. Again, there will be no D&D club meeting this week, January 24th. Meetings will resume on the 31st of January.

 

Fine arts students who are performing in the 5th grade fine arts presentation on Friday are reminded they are required to come to a rehearsal after school on Thursday in the cafeteria from 3:50 to 4:40pm.

 

7th and 8th grade choir students are reminded to report to the choir room at the very beginning of 1st period on Friday. They should wear their choir t-shirt or hoodie and leave all belongings in their lockers. They will miss 1st and 2nd periods and part of 3rd period.

 

Attention Students. There will be no 3D animation club this week.

 

Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold our next Huddle this Friday after school. Huddles will be every Friday after school, unless noted otherwise, in room 814 from 3:55-4:25. Those attending need to arrange a ride to pick them up in the front of the school at 4:30. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome!

 

Students - Please make sure you double-check your name and picture for the yearbook this week. Portraits are posted by grade level in the 600, 700, and 800 hallways. If you find a mistake, please fill out the form located on the display and return it to Room 508. Questions? See Ms. Sindt in Room 508.

Love helping others? Feel like you're a great leader? Then PALS is the class for you! PALS is a peer helping program in which a select group of eighth grade students engage in mentoring, team-building, leadership development, campus-wide problem solving, and service activities. Applications are available now from Ms. Sindt in room 508 or in the counselor’s office. Applications are due Thursday, February 8.
