Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Today is a C Day that means you will have 1st—8th period today. Once again, today is a C day.
The 7th grade A basketball team used a smothering defense to win a shortened game last night against the Paredes Pumas by a score of 27-2. The win improved their record to 10-0 on the season and 3-0 in District. The Tigers will play at Small on Thursday. The 7th grade B basketball team defeated Paredes by a score of 56-14 to improve to 3-0 in District play. The Tigers got it done on both ends of the floor. The Tigers are back in action on Thursday at Small. Great job Tigers!
Next week starts our kindness campaign, Be the “I” in Kind. Campus staff will be trying to catch students being kind to each other, adults, the school, and the environment. We can’t all be the best at everything, but we can all be kind. If you’re caught being kind, you’ll earn an entry ticket for one of several fun prizes. Take your ticket, write your name and id number on it, and put it in one of the boxes in the office, library, or on the stage. We’ll draw the winners February 17.
Tigers, please remember that you must lock up your locker using your GMS issued combination lock. Unlocked lockers could result in a lunch detention so please make sure your locker is locked!
Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold their next Huddle this today from 3:55-4:25 in room 814. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun. Those attending need to arrange a ride to pick you up at 4:30. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes, all are welcome!
