Today is an A Day
The 8th grade boys B team wrapped up their basketball season last night with a 59-13 win over Bailey. The Tigers went undefeated in District and are zone champions! Please congratulate the players today on their fantastic season. Great job Tigers!
Boys track tryouts are March 7th, 8th and 9th before school at 6:30. In order to tryout, you must signup in the Boys Coach's office by Thursday March 3rd. The schedule of events is also in the office. Any questions please see Coach Neary or Coach Fourmy.
Attention all Gorzycki Tigers! Student Council is once again collecting donations for the Souper Bowl of Caring, a nationwide charity run that collects money and foods for local food banks. Just like last year, GMS is also taking votes to pie 3 lucky teachers in the face! Talk to your EXCEL Teacher or head to the GMS website to find a link to donate and vote.
The girls' soccer B team had a big win against Ann Richards this past weekend. The final score was 9 to 0. Gia S, Eve J, and Olivia H led the offensive charge all scoring multiple goals each. The defense held strong, including Lela A, Lily T, and Ellie F, allowing zero goals to be scored against us. This win advances our record to 5-0. Congratulate the girls' soccer B team when you see them and come out and watch us play our last game at Gorzycki on Saturday, February 26th at 9:00 when we take on the Bailey Bears. Go Lady Tigers!
All 7th and 8th grade students interested in trying out for the Gorzycki tennis teams, please stop by Coach Gaines office in the gym and sign up.
