Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.

 

Tigers, after-school STEM club registration is now closed. Thanks to those who have registered for this club. Our first meeting will be Tuesday 2/27 from 4-5 pm in room 611. Please bring all of your things to room 611 after school. Thank you!

 

GMS tennis tryouts will be on February 27 and 28th for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls. In order to try out you need to have a physical and all paper work completed. See coach Gaines for the sign up sheet. You can start signing up now, please don't wait till the last minute to sign up.

 

Track Tryouts will be Monday through Wednesday March 4th, 5th and 6th and Thursday is a makeup day if necessary. Boys will tryout before school with doors at 6:30 and girls will be held after school until 5:30. Any 7th or 8th grader that is not in Athletics needs to come to the gym to sign up. Boys see coach Neary and Girls see Coach Pena. You must have a current physical and all online forms complete and you must be signed up by Friday March 1st. See coach Neary if you have any questions.

 

Congratulations to the girls soccer A team for defeating Paredes last weekend by a final score of 17 to 0. Leading the way was Ruby B, Anna Y, Ava J, Ava A, Riley F, and Once F scoring 2 goals each. Kaya A, Genevieve M, Amalie S, Chloe S, and Zoey L also scored 1 goal each. And a special shout out to Ava J for her outstanding goalie skills in the second half. The girls will start the post season tournament tonight playing Lamar. Game time is 7:30 at Burger Stadium

 

Both the 7th and 8th grade Basketball Teams will play at Gorzycki tonight vs Murchison in the first round of playoffs. The 7th Grade play at 6:00 and 8th grade at 7:00. Come out and support the teams!

 

EXCEL Classes - Don't forget to work on your "Ways to Show Kindness" posters. They're due in the counseling office by Friday 2pm. Make sure your EXCEL teacher's name and classroom number is on the back.

 


Hey Tigers! The NJHS school supplies drive is going great, but we still need more in order to reach our goal of 120 fully stocked backpacks. We have decided to extend the drive one more week, which means you’ll have another chance to be entered into our drawing. Speaking of drawings… the lucky winner from last week is …Ayan B. Please come to the front office to collect your prize.
