Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.

 

Today is an A Day that means you will have 1st—4th period today. Once again, today is an A day.

 

The Beginning Band Orchestra social that was scheduled for today has been canceled and will be re-scheduled after Spring Break.

 

Attention Honors Band Members: Don't forget there is a sectional after school today for all brass players. If you forgot your instrument today, please call home and see if a parent can drop it off. If your parent does bring your instrument, it will be your responsibility to look in the office for it; you will not be notified that it’s here. See you after school!

 

Track tryouts for 7th and 8th grade girls will take place after school next week on March 6th, 7th, and 8th from 4-5:30. Girls who are not in Spring Athletics need to sign up for tryouts in the coaches' office. See Coach Moreno for 8th grade and Coach Kehoe for 7th.

 

DING DING DING!!! New club alert! 3d Animation Club is new at GMS and will have its first meeting this Wednesday, March 1st. Learn and create 3D animation! Students must come by Ms. Christensen's room, 608, to get a permission form to attend. Hope to see you!

 

If you’re interested in trying out for the GMS Tennis team, sign-up sheets are in the gym on the table next to the boys coaches office. See Coach Gaines if you have any questions.

 

Hey 6th graders! Are you interested in studying with the PALS? Ask your Excel teacher for a pass to come to room 508! PALS can help with all your academic needs. We are available Monday through Thursday during Excel. Hope to see you there!

 

Boys Track will have tryouts March 7th through the 10th before school. Tryouts will be from 6:30-8:00 each morning. If you are not in Athletics, please see coach Neary to sign up.

Applications are available now from Ms. Sindt in room 508 or in the counselor’s office. Applications are due Wednesday, March 8.

 

Love helping others? Feel like you're a great leader? Then PALS is the class for you! PALS is a peer helping program in which a select group of eighth grade students engage in mentoring, team-building, leadership development, real-world problem solving, and service activities. Applications are available now from Ms. Sindt in room 508 or in the counselor’s office. Applications are due Wednesday,March 8. 

 

 

Students, look through the lost and found by the gym, it’s starting to fill up again.
