Attention all students! Gorzycki’s Annual Tiger Day is quickly approaching. PTA Socials is planning a fun afternoon for all students next Friday, March 10th. The girls soccer A-team dominated Paredes last weekend by a final score of 17 to 0. Leading the way was Eve J with 4 goals, Harper W and Aili B with 3 goals, Gia S with 2 goals, and Maren M, Lauren D, Sadie D, Roisin S, and Olivia H each scoring 1 goal each. Way to go girls!
Bring your hooks and your yarn! Crochet Club meets this Wednesday from 4 to 5 in Ms. O'Brien's room 712.
Congratulations to the girls soccer A-team for defeating Kealing in the first round of the city soccer tournament last night. The final score was 3 to 1 and scoring for the Tigers was Emma T, Aili B, and Vera L. The ladies will play Murchison Thursday night for the city championship. Game time is 6:00 at House Park

Track tryouts for 7th and 8th grade girls will take place after school next week on March 6th, 7th, and 8th from 4-5:30. Girls who are not in Spring Athletics need to sign up for tryouts in the coaches' office. See Coach Moreno for 8th grade and Coach Kehoe for 7th.
DING DING DING!!! New club alert! 3d Animation Club is new at GMS and will have its first meeting this Wednesday, March 1st. Learn and create 3D animation! Students must come by Ms. Christensen's room, 608, to get a permission form to attend. Hope to see you!

PALS is a peer helping program in which a select group of eighth grade students engage in mentoring, team-building, leadership development, real-world problem solving, and service activities. Boys Track will have tryouts March 7th through the 10th before school. Tryouts will be from 6:30-8:00 each morning. If you are not in Athletics, please see coach Neary to sign up.
