Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Today is a B Day that means you will have 5th—8th period today. Once again, today is a B day.
The Tiger eSports team had a resounding victory against Alamo Heights Junior High in New Braunfels last Thursday. They won 3-2 in a best of 3 Rocket League match. August W., Matthias V., and Ashton M. did great job representing Gorzycki! On Saturday, Gorzycki hosted a tournament style esports competition against Achieve Charter School. Achieve Charter achieved a slim victory, but our Tigers never gave up and showed excellent sportsmanship! Keep up the great work, Tigers!

Track tryouts for 7th and 8th grade girls will take place after school next week on March 7th, 8th, and 9th from 4-5:30. Girls who are not in Spring Athletics need to sign up for tryouts in the coaches' office. See Coach Moreno for 8th grade and Coach Kehoe for 7th.
If you’re interested in trying out for the GMS Tennis team, sign-up sheets are in the gym on the table next to the boys coaches office. See Coach Gaines if you have any questions.
Love helping others? Feel like you're a great leader? Then PALS is the class for you! PALS is a peer helping program in which a select group of eighth grade students engage in mentoring, team-building, leadership development, real-world problem solving, and service activities. Applications are available now from Ms. Sindt in room 508 or in the counselor’s office. Applications are due Wednesday, March 8.
Boys Track will have tryouts March 7th through the 10th before school. Tryouts will be from 6:30-8:00 each morning. If you are not in Athletics, please see coach Neary to sign up.
