Gorzycki’s Annual Tiger Day is quickly approaching. PTA Socials is planning a fun afternoon for all students this Friday, March 10th. Congratulations to the chamber and concert orchestras on their incredible performances at UIL last week. Chamber Orchestra came home with a sweepstakes and concert orchestra came home with an excellent rating and a perfect score in site reading. Mrs. Dickey is very proud of you!
The 7th grade A basketball team advanced to the championship game by defeating the Murchison Matadors on Friday by a score of 60-29. The win improved the Tigers record to 13-0 on the season. The Tigers will play the O Henry Mustangs tonight at 6:00 at Burger. Come out and support the team!
3 GMS Quiz Bowl Teams entered the Golden Eye Tournament on Saturday, competing against teams from all around the state of Texas. All three teams competed well in the preliminary rounds and qualified for the playoffs. In the playoffs our Gorzycki A team ended up meeting our Gorzycki C team in the championship match. The Gorzycki A team came away with the win and 1st place in the Lift Division of the Tournament. The winning team was made up of Colin S., Felix D., Adithya S., Clover M., and Liam C. Great Job Quiz Bowl!
