Today is a B Day that means you will have 5th—8th period today. Once again, today is a B day.
Attention all students! Have you purchased your Tiger Day wristband yet? Wristbands can still be purchased today during your lunchtime for only $25!. PTA Socials is planning a fun afternoon for all students tomorrow! Come out and enjoy food, drinks, interactives, games, and inflatables. More details can be found on the GMS Website!
Congratulations to the GMS Symphonic ("sim-fawn-ik") Band on receiving the Sweepstakes award at UIL yesterday, which means that they received a Superior rating from all six judges! Mr. Wahl and Mrs. Glaser are so proud of each student in the Symphonic Band. Thank you for representing GMS well!
It’s School Breakfast Week and after Getting Your Day in Gear with a Healthy School Breakfast each morning, we are getting smarter about healthy meals. Proteins are the building blocks for your muscles. And if that breakfast has lean protein, you have more energy to learn and do fun things at school. Lean protein can come from breakfast food like turkey sausage, beans, or eggs.
Did you know that Gorzycki Middle School has a golf team? If you are in 7th or 8th grade and are interested in playing golf for Gorzycki Middle School please see Coach Fourmy in the Gym to sign up for tryouts and turn in your physical if you do not already have one on file from a previous tryout or team.
Attention all Capital 10,000 runners. The first Cap10k practice will be held tomorrow morning before school at 6:45. Have your parents drop you off at the track between 6:30 and 6:45. Please remember to bring a water bottle. If you have any questions, please see Coach Sindt in room 808
