Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.

 

Today is an A Day that means you will have 1st-4th period.  Once again, today is an A Day.

 

Last week, the Gorzycki Band department held our annual solo festival. Over 115 students participated and 98% of our students received a "one" rating from their judge, which is the highest you can receive! Congratulations to all students who participated. 19 of our students were designated as "outstanding" soloists by their judge, which means that they did an extra amazing job. Congratulations to the following students for being named an "outstanding" soloist: 6th graders Brady B, Ben C, Brody H, and Olivia R-- 7th graders Eleanor B, Lucy C, Thomas G, Addy H, Bagima K, Graeme M, Colton M, and Luke T--- and 8th graders Clair B, Claudia C, Felix D, Ella K, Sayaka N, Sofia S, and Max S, Way to go students! Mrs. Glaser and Mr. Wahl are very proud of all of you.

 

This past weekend, Gorzycki Orchestra students participated in Solo and Ensemble here at Gorzycki Middle School. Students prepared individual solos or worked with other students in small ensembles and performed for judges. Mrs. Dickey is very proud of ALL students that prepared and participated in this event. Congratulations to the following students that were selected as Best Performers by the judges: Hayden F. Clint L. Austin R. Harini S. Claire C. Hannah S. Ben B. Ilan S. Mila M. Lauren N. Sean D. Students:  Wear your lanyard around your neck, check the lost and found for your lost items, and check the office for your lunch.  All of this is your responsibility.
