Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.

Today is a C Day that means you will have 1st-8th period.  Once again, today is a C Day.

A reminder that today is a C day. The STAAR preview day is today during Excel. When the bell rings for Excel, you need to go straight to your STAAR testing room. Make sure to look at the grade level posters found in the cafeteria, Commons, and grade level hallways to find your testing room.

Tomorrow is the Reading STAAR test. On STAAR test days, we encourage you to bring a lunch from home and a water bottle. Bring headphones if you use the text-to-speech accommodation. Bring a book to read for when you are done testing. No phones or smart watches are allowed in the testing room. You need to make sure you have your school issued Chromebook for STAAR testing and that it is charged. You cannot take a STAAR test on a personal computer.

Glee students are reminded to come to rehearsal after school today in the choir room. Be ready to be picked up at 4:30pm.

Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold their next Huddle this Friday from 3:55-4:25 in room 814. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun! Those attending need to arrange a ride to pick you up at 4:30. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome!

This Friday, April 21st is the LAST Drama Club of the year! Come join us after school in the cafeteria for one more Friday afternoon filled with fun games and theatre activities. The Theatre Officers have worked hard to plan awesome drama clubs throughout the year and we want this last one to be packed with fun for our favorite people!! ! Don't forget to have your ride pick you up at 5pm out front. Hope to see you there!

Both the 7th and 8th grade boys track teams won the district championships by dominating at the Zone meet over the last two nights. There were too many 1st place finishes to list, but it was an overall great team effort. Congratulations to all team members on an incredible season!

The 8th grade girls track team won 1st in the district meet last night with over 200 points. Dominating in both field and running events, the girls are now back-to-back champs. Way to finish your 8th grade year strong, Tigers!

Want a hobby that helps your fine motor skills? Join Crochet Club. Crochet Club meets today from 4 to 5 in Mrs. O'Brien's room 712.

Attention Gorzycki Animators! Attention Gorzycki Animators- we have a change of date for our next animation club. Since there is STAAR testing this week, our next animation club meeting is switched to NEXT WEDNESDAY- April 26. Again, the next animation club meeting will be next Wednesday the 26, NOT this week. See you then!

Hey 7th and 8th graders, did you know there is one more chance to attend a school dance?? GMS cheerleaders are putting on a silent disco right after school on Friday, April 28th. Tickets are only $15 and are on sale online or at school next Wednesday and Friday.

Students:  Wear your ID badge around your neck, check the lost and found for your lost items, and check the office for your lunch.  All of this is your responsibility.
