Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Students, tomorrow is the Math 6-8 and Algebra STAAR test
*Please arrive at school at your usual time
*Your name and testing room numbers are posted in the Commons and in grade level hallways
*Students will be dismissed at 8:10am to go to their testing rooms
*Please bring a FULLY CHARGED District issued AISD Chromebook and charger
*8th grade is allowed to bring their own graphing calculator
*Bring a water bottle
*All students who use the text-to-speech accommodation need to bring wired headphones
*Cell phones, smart watches, and backpacks will need to be placed in lockers before testing begins. Students will only need to bring their Chromebook, a book (non electric),and water bottle to the testing room
Choir students are reminded that there is Glee rehearsal after school on Wednesday in the choir room from 3:50 to 4:30 pm.
Tigers! It’s Earth Week! Tomorrow is no waste Wednesday. Surprisingly, 25% of the freshwater humans use goes towards producing food that never gets eaten. The best way to avoid wasting food is to only buy what you know you’ll eat. Make sure you’re doing what you can to avoid food waste everyday!
