Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Today is a B Day. That means you will have 5th-8th period today. Once again, today is a B day.
Congratulations to the GMS Jazz Band for their wonderful performance at Bowie High School last night. Your band directors are proud of you!
This is a reminder for all Beginner Band students... Beginner Band students, please remember that we have a rehearsal in the cafeteria from 4:00-4:45 PM today. I repeat, that's 4:00-4:45 PM in the cafeteria today, right after school. Make sure that you have a ride to pick you up at 4:45. If you forgot to bring your instrument today, you need to contact a parent as soon as possible so that they can bring it to school, it will then be your responsibility to check in the office for it, it will not be delivered.
Glee students are reminded to attend Glee rehearsal after school on Wednesday. This will be the last practice before the concert next week.
Attention Gorzycki students: All library books are due this Friday. Please look in your locker, in your classrooms, and at home for any GMS Library books and return them to the library by the end of this week. Thanks!
Tigers - it’s time for another Wish Week update. Last year, Student Council was able to collect $1,400 dollars in donations. This year, our goal is to do even better, so we are asking the students and families of GMS to help us raise $1,500 dollars to help a child achieve their wish. Donations are collected all week. Stay tuned for more updates about wish week.
Hi Animators! Our next animation club is THIS WEDNESDAY, May 10th. We'll see you in room 501 from 4-5. That's right, animation club is this week on Wednesday. Please have your ride ready to pick you up at 5. Questions? Ask Mrs. Christensen in room 608.
Good morning! Gorzycki Safe Space is being held today after school in Ms. Clark's room (room 615) starting at 3:50. GSS is a student-led club that supports students that identify as LGBTQ+ or allies! Join us after school today for games, snacks, community, and fun! Be sure to have a ride ready to pick up out front at 4:30. See you there!
Students, do you want to keep your cell phone and airpods? If so, please remember that cell phones and air pods are to remain out of site inside the building. Failure to follow this policy will result in a 48 hr hold and a $15 fine.
