Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.

 

 

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for finishing 1st at the St. Andrew's invitational last Saturday. With over 250 runners in the girls race, 8th grader Once F won the meet in a time of 13:39. Also scoring points for the girls team was Layla F in 2nd place with a time of 13:43, Anna Y in 11th place with a time of 14:51, Cate S in 18th place with a time of 15:22, and Carly M in 35th with a time of 16:07. The boys race had over 300 runners and 8th grader Bryce J led the way for the boys with a 3rd place finish in a time of 12:14. Also scoring points for the boys team was Anderson M finishing 12th in 12:53, Jack T finishing 23rd in 13:25, Max S finishing 28th in 13:31, and Jacob C finishing 29th in 13:35. Way to go Tiger runners! The next meet is this Saturday at Hays High School

 

Calling all 6th graders!  You presence is requested at the 6th grade social this Friday, September 15th.  The social will be right after school from 3:50pm to 5:30pm in the cafeteria & commons. To purchase tickets and for detailed information please visit the GMS website. Tickets must be purchased online by this Wednesday, September 13th.

 

Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, is searching for Huddle Leaders to lead our meetings. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets most every Friday after school to share faith, fellowship, food, and fun. If you are interested in being an FCA Leader, either email or come see Coach Houser in room 814. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes, all are welcome!

 

 

Hey Tigers! Have you noticed the bookmarks in the library are running low? Are you an artistic person and/or an avid reader? The GMS Library is having a Fall Bookmark Contest. If you're interested in participating, stop by the library for an entry form and more information.

 

Students, do NOT leave your backpack or Chromebook outside of your locker or in the lost and found, It will be confiscated.  Please learn to use your lockers.
