Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.

 

 

The 8A Football team improved to 3-0 last night by defeating the Bailey Bears by a score of 28-0. The Tigers were led by Devin L who threw for three scores, one each to Liam B, Hunter W and Mateo R. Liam B also ran for another touchdown. Nate M and Isaiah L were great in the kick game going 4-4 on extra points as well delivering perfect kickoffs. Alex Z and Nolan A were all over the field to lead the defense. The Tigers are back in action next Wednesday against the Small Cougars.

 

 

Congratulations to the cross-country teams for a strong showing at the Hays Invitational last weekend. The 7th grade girls took 3rd, 7th grade boys took 9th, and both the 8th grade girls and boys finished 1st. Top finishers for 7th grade girls were Cate S, Carly M, Hope G, Caitlin L, and Sydney W. Top finishers for 7th boys were Max P, Cooper S, Schoen T, Dayton S, and Everett L. Top finishers for 8th girls was Once F, Layla F, Zoe S, Selah G, and Ava A. Top finishers for 8th boys was Bryce J, Anderson M, Maximo S, Jacob C, and Jack T. Way to go runners! The next meet will be this Saturday in Round Rock.

 

Attention all NJHS members. Our first meeting will be today, September 20th after school in the cafeteria. If you are interested in running for office, please check the BLEND course for more information. Snacks will be provided for all attendees. Please make sure your ride is out front to pick you up promptly at 5pm.

 

Attention 7th and 8th graders...the Homecoming Dance is this Friday! Don't forget to buy your ticket. Wednesday is the last day to buy a ticket online but if you forget to buy it online you can buy one during B and C lunches on Thursday and Friday with cash or check. Wrist Band pick-up will be during your lunch on Thursday and Friday. Remember no cell phones will be allowed so leave them at home! Come have a Blast with us!
