Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Just a reminder that there will be NO 3D Animation Club after school Thursday this week.
There will be NO Gorzycki Soccr practice today. A and B teams soccer practices have been canceled today. Please make sure to go home after school.
Attention NJHS students! This is your reminder that we have a meeting after school in the cafeteria from 4-5pm today. Please be sure your ride is here waiting to pick you up out front at 5pm. See you there!
This past Saturday, our Honors Band students participated in district band auditions at Small MS. A whopping 46 students made this year's district band! Congratulations to everyone who auditioned. 27 of our students had high enough scores to advance to the final round of auditions which will happen this Saturday at Covington. A special congratulations goes out to Ryan Z, Anderson M, and Logan C, who all placed first chair in their rooms! Mrs. Glaser, Mr. Wahl, and the Gorzycki community are very proud of all of you.
Hey Tigers! We are 2 weeks away from Neal Shusterman's author visit to GMS! If you are interested in hearing him speak and getting an autographed copy of his new book, Courage to Dream, see the flyer on the GMS Library BLEND page for a link to sign up. Ms. Fuller will also be selling tickets this Thursday and Friday in the commons during all 3 lunches.
Gorzycki Middle will celebrate Love Your Brain week next week to promote drug and alcohol abuse awareness.Today’s Spirit day was "Lei (L-E-I) Off Drugs" and we wore our tropical/Hawaiian themed clothing. Tomorrow is wear your halloween costume. Please make sure you read the tvs commons about what you can and can’t wear.
7th and 8th grade boys interested in trying out for basketball must sign up and have all paperwork turned in by November 8th. 8th grade will tryout immediately after school until 5:30 on November 9th and 10th. 7th grade will tryout before school on November 10th and 17th. If you have any questions, see Coach Neary.
