Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
ALL choir students are reminded to turn in the GMS Choir fundraiser TODAY. All money must be collected & counted with items marked out that are not paid for. All checks should be made out to the GMS Choir with the choir student's name in the memo. Choir students are to count & check their fundraiser BEFORE coming to choir on today. Donations need to be marked separately on the fundraiser envelope.
Both 7th grade basketball teams won big last night against Small. 7A won 61-6 and were led by Kennedy C who dropped 27 points. Isabella R scored 14 and Jacey R chipped in with 10. 7B won by a score of 34-6. Jacquelyn H led a balanced attack with 8 points while Mary Mae and Driscoll P added 6 apiece. Great job Tigers!
Both 8th grade girls basketball A and B team won against Small Middle School last night. Both teams showed a lot of strength, grit, and teamwork. Girls, your coaches and school are so proud of you and excited to see you all continue to crush it this season. Go Tigers!
7th and 8th grade boys interested in trying out for basketball must sign up and have all paperwork turned in by November 8th. 8th grade will tryout immediately after school until 5:30 on November 9th and 10th. 7th grade will tryout before school on November 10th and 17th. If you have any questions, see Coach Neary.
Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold our next Huddle of the year today after school. Huddles will be every Friday after school, unless noted otherwise, in room 814 from 3:55-4:25. Those attending need to arrange a ride to pick them up in the front of the school at 4:30. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome!
Drama Club students, Drama Club has been canceled for today due to students and teachers being preoccupied with preparation for UIL Competition. Again, there will be no drama club today. Our next Drama Club will be in December on Friday the 8th, again that's Friday, December 8th. We look forward to seeing you there!
