Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Glee students are reminded to come to practice today in the choir room from 3:50 to 4:30pm. This will be the last practice before the concert next week.
Good afternoon! Gorzycki Safe Space is being held tomorrow, 11/30 after school in Ms. Clark's room (room 615) starting at 3:50. GSS is a student-led club that supports students that identify as LGBTQ+ or allies! Join us after school today for games, snacks, community, and fun! Be sure to have a ride ready to pick up out front at 4:30. See you there!
Its time for Academic UIL Tryouts. UIL is a district-wide competition, held each Spring, in which all AISD Middle Schools will compete against each other in a number of Academic events. UIL is a great way to focus on a subject area you love and compete for your school! The events in this year's competition are: 6th Grade Spelling, 7th Grade Number Sense, 7th & 8th Grade Ready Writing, and 8th Grade Social Studies. Tryouts will be held next week, December 4th-7th during EXCEL. Please see Coach Murray in room 708 if you are interested in trying out.
Hey Tigers! We need more coats to reach our goal of 400! Please look through your closets for any gently used coats you no longer need and bring them to school with you this week! Remember, the student who donates the most coats gets a gift card to a local business, and the Excel class that collects the most coats gets a party hosted by DoubleDaves! So don't forget to clean those closets and find those coats!
