Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Choir students who sold fundraiser items will be given a special pass to come to the choir room at 3:45pm today to pick up their items before going home. All fundraiser items MUST be picked up even if a choir student is absent since some items must be refrigerated. Choir students who have a parent picking them up must have their parent do so at 4:00pm in front of the school.
Today is the last day to drop off your coats for Coats for Kids! Not counting today, we’ve collected over 150 coats! Thank you so much for your support of this wonderful cause. If you forgot to donate a coat, you can still drop one off at any Jack Brown Cleaners in Austin or donate online. Thanks again for helping keep Central Texas kids warm!
It’s time for Academic UIL Tryouts. UIL is a district-wide competition, held each Spring, in which all AISD Middle Schools will compete against each other in a number of Academic events. UIL is a great way to focus on a subject area you love and compete for your school! The events in this year's competition are: 6th Grade Spelling, 7th Grade Number Sense, 7th & 8th Grade Ready Writing, and 8th Grade Social Studies. Tryouts will be held next week, December 4th-7th during EXCEL. Please see Coach Murray in room 708 if you are interested in trying out.
