The Bowie High School Debate team is starting a Debate Club here at Gorzycki! Debate Club is the perfect place to explore the art of "organized arguing". Become an influencer, discuss both sides of controversial topics, and develop your "chill under pressure" skills, all while building new friendships and basically being super cool! Come to the informational meeting this Monday Dec 13th, right after school in Room 327 to find out more. Start something new...be a part of the first Gorzycki Middle School Debate Club! HO! HO! HO! Hey Gorzycki tigers, Christmas has come early for 1,200 local families in need! NJHS is collecting BRAND NEW toys for the Travis County Sheriff’s Brown Santa Program. These gifts will bring smiles to hundreds of children all over Austin! You can put your donations in the two barrels (or boxes) located in front of the school starting tomorrow through December 17th. Happy Holidays!
Choir students are reminded to report to the GMS Commons tonight for the GMS Winter Choir Concert. Glee students should be in the commons by 6pm for a special rehearsal. All other choir students should be in the commons by 6:30pm to check roll, warm up, & rehearse. The concert begins at 7pm. All GMS students & staff are invited to attend. The Bowie HS Show Choir will be featured at this concert!
Hey Tigers! This Friday is the Winter Drama Club and the theme is "Gingerbread Wonderland." Come to the cafeteria after school on Friday for some festive fun and games with the theatre officers! Never been to Drama Club before? No problem! pick up a permission form outside room 327 and bring it with you on Friday. Pick up will be in front of the school promptly at 5pm. Hope to see you there!

Badge & Water Bottle Reminder. Students please don’t forget your ID BADGE, YOU NEED TO WEAR IT TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY! Also, bring your refillable water bottle with you everyday as well.
