Daily Announcements: 12/13/23

Wednesday, December 13, 2023

Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.

Just a reminder there is NO 3D Animation Club this week or next. See you January 18th.

Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, would like to invite you to come join us for a special Christmas Edition Huddle. We'll play a game, give our message, and have Chicken Sandwiches and Christmas treats! This special Huddle will be in room 814 from 3:55-4:25. Those attending need to arrange a ride to pick them up in the front of the school at 4:30. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome! Happy Holidays!

Holiday Dress Up Days start tomorrow with Mad About Plaid! Wear your plaid and or flannel! Friday is Holiday Spectacular with all the holiday get-up (headwear, socks, accessories, sweaters). Monday - You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch! Wear green or Grinchy-y attire. Tuesday - Candy Cane Lane. Wear red and white. Wednesday - PAJAMA DAY! Signs are around the halls.

7th & 8th grade choir students are to report directly to the big gym this Thursday at the beginning of 1st period. They will need to wear their bright holiday-colored tops & leave all belongings in their lockers. They will miss 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th periods due to the GMS Winter Fine Arts performances.

The GMS fine arts department will be presenting the 2023 GMS Winter Fine Arts Assembly on Thursday. All students who are not performing will report to their regular classes as usual & will need to bring their belongings with them when they head to the gym for the performances after checking attendance. 6th grade will attend 2nd period. 7th grade will attend 3rd period. 8th grade will attend 4th period. This is not a pep rally even though it is in the gym. Students should expect to listen & show positive support when necessary. Teachers are also expected to sit with their class to monitor students.

Students don’t forget to look through the Lost & Found by the gym and in the 600 hall for your lost items. All unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity next Wednesday, December 20th.  Yes, the date has been extended.

Have a great rest of your day tigers!
