Tiger Day Reminders, please read!

Gorzycki Families,

Tiger Day is tomorrow.  This is a great celebration and fundraiser for our students and a tradition for GMS.  Gorzycki has been able to participate in Tiger Day because our students have always followed the rules.  Here are the behavior expectations for students.  These expectations were shared today with students.  If students are seen not following the rules, the student will be removed and placed in detention.  Please help Gorzycki continue the tradition of Tiger Day and discuss behavior expectations and consequences with your child.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

TIGER DAY RULES REMINDER:

  • No Cell Phones

  • No Backpacks

  • No running, screaming or other unruly behavior

  • Clean up trash….Please do not leave mess for the custodians

  • Do not wander into undesignated Tiger Day areas- stay where the events are happening

  • HAVE FUN!

If you are needing to pick your student up early please remember to do the following.

1. The student must bring a written note to the office before school starts, where a staff member writes permits.

2. The note must include the student’s first and last name. Write the specific time (not class period) the student is needed in the front office and the reason for the student leaving early.

3. The student will take the pink permit to the appropriate teacher when it is time to leave. That teacher will allow the student to go to the front office for parent pick-up. Teachers will not allow students to leave class without a pink permit.

Please remember that without a parent note, it will be very difficult for the office to find your child during the Tiger Day event.
