City of Austin crews are expected to begin markings work on Hillside Terrace Drive, Allerton Ave and Barstow Ave to accomplish the following:

• Two-way bikeways providing connection to both schools along Allerton Ave., Barstow Ave., Hillside Terrace Dr. and along Taylorcrest Dr. from Escarpment Blvd. to Sommerland Way.
• Pedestrian crossing improvements along Hillside Dr., and Barstow Ave. as well as an all-way-stop at Salcon Cliff Dr. and Taylorcrest Dr.

This is the final phase of work before all of the bikeways and crossings become functional. Together, these streets will provide walking and bicycling connectivity to, from, and between Gorzycki Middle School and Mills Elementary School and nearby trails and parks.
