Listen up Tigers; Here are your announcements for today. 

6th grade choir students are reminded there will be a required concert rehearsal during Excel on Wednesday in the GMS Commons. All choir students should wear their choir uniforms and report to their designated warmup areas at 6:30pm on Wednesday night for the GMS Winter Choir Concert. The concert begins at 7:00pm for all interested students and staff wishing to attend. 

The GMS Boys B Soccer Team defeated Parades 2-0 in the pouring rain on Saturday. Goals were scored by Bruce B. and Ivan P. Goalkeepers Dylan J and August W. made some important saves to keep the shutout. The B-Team is undefeated going into our final game of the season. Come out and see us at 10:30 am this Saturday at Small Middle School. Go B-Team!  
 

GMS entered three teams into the Holiday Party Quiz Bowl Tournament on Saturday. The field comprised 27 teams from all around TX, Illinois, California and New York, including ten that had already qualified for the National Championship tournament later this year. All three GMS teams had strong performances, with the A-Team of Connor E., Logan G., Heath D., and Milo L. coming in first in the tournament. Great Job, Quiz Bowl!  

Congratulations to the boys soccer C team! They won 2 to 1 against Burnet Middle School's B team on Saturday. Goals were scored by Wesley C. The defender of the game was Anders M. The team's next game is Saturday, December 14th at 10:30am at Northeast High School against Lively Middle School's B team!
