Happy Tuesday Gorzycki! Tomorrow’s theme for Pride Week is celebrating YOU and what makes you unique and special! The theme is “I am beYOUtiful!” and we want you to wear something that makes you feel beautiful, confident, and proud of who you are. Whether it’s your favorite outfit, a shirt with a message that inspires you, wear it with pride! When you feel good, you shine even brighter. Let’s make Wednesday all about feeling empowered and embracing what makes us special!
Choir students are reminded there will be rehearsals in the commons on Wednesday to get ready for the GMS Pre-UIL Choir Concert that day. 6th grade choir students will also report to the commons during Excel for a required rehearsal on Wednesday. All choir students should wear their choir uniform and report to their warmup area at 7:15pm for the concert on Wednesday. The concert begins at 7:30pm on March 26 for all parents, students, and staff interested in attending.
We are excited to announce our upcoming Stomp on Cancer Shoe Drive, and we need your help! From March 7 to March 28, we invite you to donate gently used shoes to make a positive impact in our community. Every pair of shoes you donate will provide comfort to people who may not have proper footwear. It’s a simple way to give back and make a difference! We will also use the shoes to raise money for a cancer charity. You can drop off your shoe donations in the collection boxes near the school entrances in the morning. Please share this with your friends and family! The top donors will win prizes! Let’s come together to help those in need. Gather your old shoes, spread the word, and let’s make this drive successful! Thank you for your kindness and support!
Oh wow, what’s this? It’s a ticket to a circus-filled Drama Club! Join us in the cafeteria on Friday, March 28th from 4-5 pm. You can play games, hang out with friends, and get candy! Make sure to turn in a permission form to room 327 or 512 before you arrive! And again, March 28th from 4-5pm. Can’t wait to see you there!
