On Thursday, we’re all about celebrating community and connection! Our theme for Thursday is “Our Community is beYOUtiful!” We’re encouraging all students to take part in our Mix it Up Lunch! During lunch, you’ll be encouraged to talk to 3 new people, share 3 things about yourself, and maybe even learn something new about someone else. What do you like about school? What’s your favorite hobby? What’s one fun fact we don’t know about you? You may also go to the commons during lunch to meet people you do not know. Let’s strengthen our school community and appreciate the diverse and wonderful people who make up Gorzycki!
6th grade choir students will need to report to the commons during Excel today for a required rehearsal. All choir students should wear their choir uniform and report to their warmup area at 7:15pm for the concert today. The concert begins at 7:30pm for all parents, students, and staff interested in attending.
We are excited to announce our upcoming Stomp on Cancer Shoe Drive, and we need your help! From March 7 to March 28, we invite you to donate gently used shoes to make a positive impact in our community. Every pair of shoes you donate will provide comfort to people who may not have proper footwear. It’s a simple way to give back and make a difference! We will also use the shoes to raise money for a cancer charity. You can drop off your shoe donations in the collection boxes near the school entrances in the morning. Please share this with your friends and family! The top donors will win prizes! Let’s come together to help those in need. Gather your old shoes, spread the word, and let’s make this drive successful! Thank you for your kindness and support!
Oh wow, what’s this? It’s a ticket to a circus-filled Drama Club! Join us in the cafeteria on Friday, March 28th from 4-5 pm. You can play games, hang out with friends, and get candy! Make sure to turn in a permission form to room 327 or 512 before you arrive! And again, March 28th from 4-5pm. Can’t wait to see you there!
Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold our next Huddle this Friday after school. Huddles will be every Friday after school, unless noted otherwise, in room 814 from 3:55-4:25. Those attending need to arrange a ride to pick them up in the front of the school at 4:30. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome!
