Turn-it-Off Thursday
Did you know the average Texan uses enough energy each year to equal 17,000 pounds of coal—or about 36,000 burritos? Or that the average American uses 88 gallons of water a day, and leaks alone can waste 180 gallons a week?
Be the best and let our energy and water rest! Adjust the thermostat in the classroom and at home to reduce the amount of energy you use for heating and cooling, turn lights off when you leave the room, and switch off appliances when you are finished using them. You can also save water at home by taking speedy showers and turning off the tap while you brush your teeth.
Don’t forget the student Earth Week contests! Earth art submissions are due on Wednesday,

Hey Tigers, it’s getting pretty hot outside, so come dive under the sea with us at the last drama club of the year from 4 to 5pm on April 25th. There will be games, candy, and so much fun. Everyone is welcome, but please make sure to fill out the drama club form located outside of room 512 and 327. Once again, that’s this Friday from 4-5pm.
Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold our next Huddle this Friday after school. Huddles will be every Friday after school, unless noted otherwise, in room 814 from 3:55-4:25. Those attending need to arrange a ride to pick them up in the front of the school at 4:30. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome!
Bring your hooks and yarn and any other crafting supplies to the next Crochet & Craft Club meeting. It will be next Monday after school from 4:00 to 5:15 in Mrs. O'Brien's room 718. See you then!
Attention lady tigers - tomorrow is the final deadline to sign up for girls flag football club. The club will not start today. Instead, girls flag football will begin meeting NEXT Thursday. Be sure to get your permission slips into Ms. Wohleb by the end of the day tomorrow! Hope to see you there.
