Listen up Tigers; Here are your announcements for today. 

Hey Tigers! The yearbook and Gnasher News TV staffs are starting to create the end-of-the-year 8th grade slideshow. We would love to include every 8th grader in the slideshow, but we need your help! From now until Friday, May 9, you OR your parents can submit pictures for this project. Scan the QR code on the Excel slide or on the posters in the hallways. The form for parents will be sent out to them directly. 

Here are the rules for submitting photos: 

You may only submit up to 2 photos 

Your photos can be of you from your 6th, 7th, or 8th grade years at GMS 

They can be solo shots or group shots 

All students in the pictures must be in dress code 

Absolutely NO hand signs of any kind 

Photos will not be accepted after May 9 at 4 pm 

No photos are guaranteed to be in the slideshow 

REMEMBER: The deadline for submission is 4:00 on Friday, May 9!! 

Bring your hooks and yarn and any other crafting supplies to today's Crochet & Craft Club meeting after school from 4:00 to 5:15 in Mrs. O'Brien's room 718. See you then! 

Congratulations to the Gorzycki Band department for a successful performance last Friday at the Bluebonnet Classic in San Antonio! All 3 of our advanced-level bands (Concert, Symphonic & Honors) received trophies for superior performance and also received the "outstanding performance" designation. Our band represented GMS so well in front of other schools, parents, and judges. Way to go Tiger Band! We are proud of you. 

Gorzycki tigers will Excel today and lead tomorrow; have a great rest of your day tigers!
