Daily Announcements: 11/07/25

As we continue to celebrate Native American Heritage Month, today we recognize Temryss Lane - former professional soccer player and sports journalist/analyst. Temryss currently serves as a Nike N7 Ambassador and is a vice president with Pyramid Communications working to “[support] tribal nations and tribal organizations in telling their stories and generating visibility for Indigenous leadership.  She also co-hosts the All My Relations Podcast. 

Both the 8th grade A and B teams got big wins last night against the Ann Richards Stars. The A team had 4 girls score in double digits. Elsie C. led the way with 23, Bela B. dropped 22, Grace S. scored 16 and Alexa C. had 14. The B team used a balanced attack with Sarah C. leading the way with 7 points. Bella B. scored 6 and Haddie W. and Isabel N. chipped in with 5. The Tigers are back in action on Thursday against Small at GMS. 

Congratulations to our C team girls basketball girls.  They defeated O. Henry 26-6 in their home opener game. 

8th Grade Boys basketball tryouts will be on Nov 13th and 14th after school. You must have all paperwork and forms completed prior to tryouts. Please see Coach Neary with any questions. 

Congrats to the 7th grade girls basketball teams for defeating Ann Richards last night.  B team won respectfully 31-7.  A team won respectfully 37-6.  Great teamwork!  Go Lady Tigers!   

Last announcement for the week. Check the lost and found by the gym and find your lost item. That’s it, check the lost and found by the gym. All unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity on November 21st after school.
