Celebrating Arab American Heritage Month, we honor the legacy of Helen Thomas (1920–2013), the "First Lady of the Press" and a daughter of Lebanese immigrants. As a trailblazing journalist, Thomas shattered glass ceilings for both women and Arab Americans. Her historic career included: Covering 10 U.S. Presidents, from JFK to Obama. Breaking Barriers as the first female president of the White House Correspondents' Association. Defining an Era with her iconic sign-off: "Thank you, Mr. President." A proud Detroiter of Arab descent, she used her platform to hold power accountable for nearly 60 years. Today, we celebrate her fearless pursuit of the truth and her lasting impact on American media.

Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold our next Huddle tomorrow morning. Huddles will be every Friday morning, unless noted otherwise, in the small gym from 7:30-8:05am. Those attending need to enter the small gym through the doors near the outside basketball courts. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome!
