As we continue celebrating Arab American Heritage Month, did you know that one of the most influential figures in modern technology was of Arab descent? Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, was the son of a Syrian immigrant. While he was raised by his adoptive parents in California, his biological father, Abdulfattah 'John' Jandali, came to the U.S. from Homs, Syria. Jobs’s visionary work gave us the iPhone, the iPad, and changed how we use computers forever. His story reminds us that innovation has no boundaries and that Arab American roots have helped shape the very devices we use every day.

6th Grade girls and boys Open Gym from 7-8am on Thursday, April 9th.  Come to the court side doors for entry at 7am.  Bring your athletic shoes, knee pads, water bottles and other basketball and volleyball related equipment.

Hey Tigers! As summer is around the corner, a new donation event called Sunny Days Drive is happening at our school! Have any new or gently used items like beach towels, flip flops, swimsuits for kids through teens, or any other swim related items? Then you should think about donating! You can drop off donations at Gorzycki Middle School during school hours, from April 8th to April 28th. The collection boxes will be set up outside of the  front office, and to the right of the main staircase in the commons. These items will go towards less fortunate kids who don't have easy access to swim items this summer.
