As we continue celebrating Arab American Heritage Month, today we recognize Sarah Attar, who competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics as one of the first two women to represent Saudi Arabia.  This was controversial in Saudi Arabia and Ms. Attar had to wear running clothes that complied with Islamic law.  In 2012, she competed in the 800m and in 2016, the marathon. 

Hey Tigers! Don't forget about a new donation event called Sunny Days Drive that is happening at our school! If you have any new or gently used items like beach towels, flip flops, swimsuits for kids through teens, or any other swim related items then you should think about donating! You can drop off donations at Gorzycki Middle School during school hours, from now until April 28th. The collection boxes will be set up outside of the  front office, and to the right of the main staircase in the commons. These items will go towards less fortunate kids who don't have easy access to swim items this summer.
