Congratulations to the cross country team for an outstanding day of racing last Saturday at the Hays Invitational. Both the 7th grade girls and boys teams won the meet while the 8th grade girls took 3rd and 8th grade boys were 4th. Leading the way for the 7th grade girls was Ella R who won the race with a school record time of 12:20. Followed closely behind her was teammate Maxine R in 2nd overall. The 7th grade boys were led by Reid A in 2nd place with a school record tying time of 12:09. He was followed closely by teammate John J finishing 4th overall. The 8th grade girls were led by Martina A who won the race and teammate Bellamy W in 2nd. The 8th grade boys were led by Hudson G and Josh K in 16th and 17th in their race. Congrats to all the outstanding runners who competed last weekend. The next meet will be this Friday night at the AISD invitational. 

Attention 6th graders!  Our first GMS Dance this year is just for 6th graders!  This year's Glow Dance will be this Friday, September 11th and is a fun tradition that welcomes 6th graders to GMS!  Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or during 6th grade lunch this Thursday and Friday.   

Gorzycki Tigers will excel today and lead tomorrow.
