Today, as we celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, we recognize activist Dolores Huerta. Ms. Huerta started her career as a school teacher but soon realized she wanted to change the world on a bigger scale. She dedicated her life to organizing peaceful protests, fighting for fair pay, and securing clean drinking water for workers in the fields. She also created the famous rallying cry, "¡Sí, se puede!"—which means "Yes, we can!" Her decades of hard work earned her the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2012. Let’s remember Dolores Huerta’s words today and know that your voice has the power to make a difference. Have a great day, Tigers, and Sí, se puede!
