Today for Hispanic Heritage Month, we are spotlighting an incredible creative powerhouse: Lin-Manuel Miranda. Lin-Manuel Miranda is a famous Puerto Rican-American playwright, actor, and composer who completely changed the world of theater. He is the brilliant mind behind the smash-hit Broadway musicals "In the Heights" and "Hamilton," which blended history with hip-hop and rap. He also wrote the catchy, unforgettable music for Disney movies you love, like "Moana" and "Encanto"—including the mega-hit song "We Don't Talk About Bruno." Miranda has won multiple Tony Awards, Grammys, and Emmy Awards for his art, proving that using your unique voice and storytelling can inspire millions of people worldwide.
