Listen up Tigers; here are your announcements for the day.
Gorzycki Tiger's ESports Overwatch 2 Team defeated Alice Middle School's Coyotes. And our Esports chess players Christopher S.and Alex S. both took home wins last night. Great job Gorzycki!
Choir students who signed up to attend the GMS Choir Social should report to the GMS cafeteria by 4pm on Friday. Guests of choir students must have been signed up ahead of time & should be with the choir student who signed them up to attend. Choir students are to have their ride pick them up by 5:30pm.
Attention Tigers: The Fall Harvest kicks off next Monday! Gather up 6 or more canned food items and bring them to either the front of the school or the bus loop. Your act of kindness not only grants you access to the Monster Mash during EXCEL on Halloween but also ensures that Central Texas families in need have food this fall. Last year, GMS collected thousands of cans to donate to hungry Texans, so let's top that record and make an even bigger impact this year.
Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold our next Huddle of the year this Friday after school. Huddles will be every Friday after school, unless noted otherwise, in room 814 from 3:55-4:25. Those attending need to arrange a ride to pick them up in the front of the school at 4:30. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome!
Students, are you getting picked up early? Please remind your parent to write you a note with the time that you will be picked up and bring it to the commons in the morning so that you can receive a pink pass to leave class at your scheduled time. Teachers will not let you leave class without a pink pass from the office. It is your responsibility to remember what time you are leaving.
