Today’s Women’s History Month spotlight goes to Taylor Ellison.  She was born and raised in Austin and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin.  Ms. Ellison then moved to Washington D.C. to work for Teach for America, teaching 8th grade at a KIPP charter school.  When she came back to Austin, Ms. Ellison started working as an entertainment reporter before eventually co-hosting We Are Austin and creating, executive producing, and hosting Austin After Hours. 

Boys and Girls track tryouts will be held March 9th-12th. Boys will tryout before school and girls after. Any 7th or 8th grade student that is interested in trying out will need to sign up in the coach's office. All Boys should see coach Neary and all Girls should see Coach Pena. Anyone trying out must have all current year paperwork (physical and online forms) turned in by Friday, March 5th. Specific tryout details will be sent to everyone who signs up.  Contact Coach Neary or Coach Pena with any questions.
